Leila (she/her) is a highly motivated development professional, with extensive experience working with boards, volunteers and donors. She brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit development and management including annual and capital campaigns, corporate sponsorship programs, cultivation events, grant writing, and planned giving.
Leila also has a strong background as a results-oriented project, program and events planner and manager with experience in both the private and public sectors. Her early career took her to Washington DC where she worked at the Smithsonian Institution, a web development company and an eco-travel company. She then moved home to Maine where she worked for a nationally recognized chamber music festival, a traditional wooden boat building school, and an annual boat and home show. Now based in Portsmouth, NH Leila has worked as a development consultant for a number of nonprofit organizations throughout NH and Maine, working closely with clients on capital campaigns, donor engagement, development operations, grant writing, board fundraising, and communications.
Leila and Caitlin have partnered on campaign and development projects since 2018 and she is a trusted member of the team.

When not working: Leila enjoys spending time in the garden and nature, and visiting the vibrant communities of Rockland and Bar Harbor, Maine.
